Sweet Gratitude for Precious Pampering

Tree Gratitude - Oct 2015This past weekend, my list of Gratitudes filled to overflowing: for kindred family and friends and strangers who delight in unexpected ways; for the way life tends to ease us into what is needed most, to a point where we almost believe it was our idea; for wild rides from visions to realities that never begin or end with details-planned in tact; and, for my children who wake me to Divine Truth and, my husband who cares for me in the ways that will heal and waken me despite my stubborn antics that would seek to convince him otherwise.

I put my neck and back out this weekend, and thus was called IN.

A thousand things to be done and adventures to be had, and my reality-prince halted it all for R&R and Jenni-pampering. House cleaned, laundry done, a Thanksgiving feast prepared and meals made for the week, not-to-mention, tea and massages. WoW! I have always deeply loved my Todd, but this weekend almost topped all the other gifts of romance he’s offered over the years.

He gave me the gift of rest, true, deep and real (can’t remember when I read a book cover to cover).

We are a World-Series-Winning kinda team baby, and I am soooo jazzed and deLIGHTed our lives are intertwined. And just like a rockin’ team basking in the light of recognition and fame, it is the day-to-day that empowers us to deliver. It is in the moments in the dugout, behind the curtain, when we’re feeling less than on our game but we still ante up because, well, we must, that is what builds up this band of cohesive cohorts who reap the rewards of the win.

To all my Canadian friends who have just come off the buzz of remembering why we live and love the lives we do, Happy Thanksgiving!

May we all offer up, day-after-day, not what we ‘think’ with our minds is it we should give and not what we ‘want’ to give to others, but seek to have our delivery in harmony with what we hear when we Listen with our Whole Hearts and answer to the whisperings of our loved ones ~ those Divine voices that guide us to a higher good, those Voices that even they may not hear, but we truly can if we ask and open.

To your listening and perpetual delivery of true and mind-blowing love!
